Convert your VECTOR file (.ai) into an IMAGE FILE (.JPEG)

ILLUSTRATOR

​This is how to EXPORT as a .jpg
To turn in your file, you need to EXPORT it as a JPEG
FILE > EXPORT > EXPORT AS... >
  • Make sure your file is named correctly 
  • Make sure to choose JPEG and check the JPEG OPTIONS to match those below...
  • Color Model [RGB] 
  • Quality [10]  
  • Resolution                                               [High (300ppi)] if you want to print your     work.                                                      [Screen (72 ppi)] is ok if you are just turning in work.

Illustrator & Photoshop

Adobe software is designed to work well together and there may be a time you want to do some work in PHOTOSHOP... 
You can also choose to EXPORT as a PHOTOSHOP (*.PSD) file to use in PHOTOSHOP - Click Use Artboards to export layers.
